Agradecemos a la revista “Destino Córdoba Ciudad” por la nota al Lic. Jorge Juan Busquets en su paso por Córdoba.

“En un fugaz paso por Córdoba, y respondiendo a la invitación de la Asociación Empresaria Hotelera y Gastronómica de Córdoba, elLic. Jorge Juan Busquets mas conocido como Jordi Busquetsbajó a nuestra Ciudad para ofrecer una de las disertaciones más edificantes del VI Congreso de Prensa Turística Especializada. Con 40 años de trayectoria dedicados al mundo de los viajes y turismo, habiendo tenido actuaciones tanto en el sector público como privado, en el campo de la consultoría internacional y en el mundo académico, Jordi, dialogó con Destino Córdoba y esto respondía: ¿Como veo la evolución de la plaza hotelera y Gastronómica de Córdoba?. “Estoy informado de la evolución del equipamiento hotelero de Córdoba de los últimos 10 años, no solo en la diversidad de marcas que han ingresado, si no de los hoteles existentes, que producto de la llegada de estos nuevos actores se han modernizado. La Gastronomía en Córdoba para mí siempre fue un activo, probablemente un activo que en Córdoba en general no utiliza en su total magnitud. Tengo registros permanentes y actualizados de la evolución cuantitativa y cualitativa de la oferta de alojamiento y de la oferta gastronómica, espero venir con mas tiempo para disfrutar y degustar esta evolución”.
Al consutarle sobre la solida relación entre el sector público y privado, citando el caso entre la Munucipalidad de Córdoba y la Asociación Empresaria Hotelera y Gastronomica de Córdoba, Jordi respondía: “La relación sector publico-privado en esta actividad quien no la admita, quien no la comprenda, quien no la impulse no tiene idea de a donde va en el mundo de la actividad del turismo. Es esencial. A los argentino nos cuesta, las cuestiones asociativas nos cuesta, mucho más cuando se trata de sectores publicos y privados, porque desde mi visión estamos transitando un periodo de la historia de nuestro pais donde se presentan diferentes matises, yo los llamo confrontación por el cartel y no por las transformaciones de las sociedades, esto condiciona. Pero seguiré insistiendo y reiterando que la esencia y las características de la actividad hace necesario que esta construcción sea de a dos. Acá se están entendiendo”.
Cabe destacar que en la actualidad Jordi Busquets es asesor de la Federación Empresaria Hotelera Gastronómica de la Argentina – FEHGRA, es asesor del Directorio de los Hoteles Emperador; integra el panel de Expertos de la Organización Mundial de Turismo – OMT; es Vicepresidente del Comité Ejecutivo de la Asociacion Internacional de Hoteles y Restaurantes – IH&RA; representa a la Cámara Argentina de Turismo en la Vice Presidencia del Consejo Empresarial de la Organización Mundial del Turismo; es consultor-asociado de THR (Consultora Española) y a su vez es Director de JJB Asociates Tourism & Hospitality Consulting; es profesor Universitario en la Universidad del Salvador, Universidad Católica Argentina y en la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata.”
